Catfish Mini SD Technical Specification

When the slurry pump is fully lowered, the dredger is capable of dredging up to 3.5 metres deep.

The hydraulic slurry pump’s technical specification is presented in Table2.

For the Catfish Mini SD to perform as intended, any vegetation (floating and/or submerge) and large sized debris must be cleared from designated dredging area. Presence of vegetation and large- sized debris will block the pump intake.

Based on the parameters above, the following dredging performance is expected.

Slurry specific gravity:     = 1.3

Pumping capacity (slurry):         184.6 m3/hr (~3,076.9 L/min)

Solid flow rate:                   36.92 m3/hr (~ 615.3 L/min)

Total solid dredged per work day: 221.52 m3 (221,520 L)

Slurry specific gravity:                 = 1.5

Pumping capacity (slurry):         160 m3/hr (~2,666.7 L/min)

Solid flow rate:                    32 m3/hr (~ 533.33 L/min)

Total solid dredged per work day:                    192 m3 (192,000 L)

Note that the higher the solid percentage in the discharge line, the shorter the pumping distance is.

Outboard motor

The Catfish Mini SD is equipped with two Yamaha FT9.9 high-thrust petrol outboard motors with large diameter propeller. These outboard motors enable the dredger to maneuver independently on dredging area. Each outboard motor is connected to 12 Litres external polymer fuel cell. The
outboards’ steering mechanism is controlled via joystick in the operator’s cabin through hydraulic
steering helm and cylinders. Throttle and trim control are also installed in the operator’s cabin.

Trailer

Catfish dredger is transported via its own galvanised trailer, with electric brakes, powered winch and connected via a 70mm 4500kg rated towball.

Photos attached are when unit was delivered new, slight weathering to unit as per age however unit represents excellent buying and would suit a new purchaser.

Only item not supplied is the 6" delivery hose.
